Japan America Kite Festival
is dedicated to educating the general public about Japan and Japanese culture through the traditional art form of Japanese kite making. Street banners and bus wraps advertised the festival in Chicago.

The festival is promoted throughout the city with bus wraps. The kite illustration is based on the Japanese Sode Dako or Kimono kite, traditonal to Japan. The kimono shape is familiar to Chicagoans.
